The score and a plain-language verdict appear instantly, calculated entirely in your browser; nothing you enter is uploaded until you ask for the full report. The full report by mail adds the category breakdown, an industry benchmark and three concrete next moves. Free, double opt-in. A score under 60 comes with an offer to book the 15-minute Sonic Audit. What the number means The score runs from 0 to 100 and falls into one of three verdicts. Up to 40 points a brand counts as acoustically invisible: there is nothing a customer could recognize it by with their eyes closed. Between 41 and 70 the verdict is interchangeable. That is the range where money goes into sound that could just as easily belong to someone else. From 71 points the brand is recognizable. What you get asked Nine questions are about the brand, three place it: industry, media budget and your role. You are asked whether there is an audio logo and a defined brand sound, how much audio sits in your brand guidelines, who picks the music in campaigns, whether the brand sounds the same across TV, social and events, how much stock music went into the last five productions, whether customers recognize the spot before the brand name, and who owns the rights to the campaign music. One question simply asks: can you hum your brand? Four categories The answers spread across Identity, Consistency, Recognition and Rights. On screen you see the total; the report by mail breaks the four out separately and puts them next to your industry average. Two more angles: the Silence Tax Calculator puts a number on the media budget that runs without sonic assets, and the Sonic Teardowns take apart why Porsche sounds like Porsche. ## The Silence Tax Calculator · audiobrand.ing URL: https://audiobrand.ing/calculator/ Language: en What does silence cost you? Brands without sonic assets leave measurable advertising effect on the table. Set your budget, pick your channels. The model does the rest, and shows its work. Annual media budget €2.0M Channels in your mix TV / Streaming Social Radio Podcast Digital / Display – of your spend works below its potential without sonic assets. Every year. Quietly. Show the math Model, in one breath: budget × audio-touched share of your channel mix × a conservative under-performance factor. Audio-touched share per channel, TV/Streaming 85 % · Social 60 % · Radio 100 % · Podcast 100 % · Display 30 %; Under-performance factor, 25 %, deliberately far below what the studies imply; Why conservative: Ipsos measured ads with sonic brand cues at 8.5× branded attention and audio assets at 3.44× the effectiveness of visual assets; Kantar BrandZ links strong sonic assets to 76 % higher brand power. If we assumed those multipliers directly, the number above would be several times larger. Sources: Ipsos, Kantar BrandZ. The model is an estimate for orientation, not an audit. The audit exists too. It takes 15 minutes. What the number puts a figure on The result puts a figure on the part of your media budget that runs without acoustic recognition and therefore stays below what the same amount would achieve with it. It appears nowhere in your accounts. Whether it applies in your case depends on things the calculator does not know: your category, your competition, and whether your spots run with sound at all. Why radio and podcast sit at 100 percent The audio-touched share per channel is the second lever in the model. For radio and podcast it sits at 100 percent, because there is nothing there but sound. TV and streaming stand at 85, social at 60, display at 30 percent. These values are assumptions of the model and not a measurement of your campaigns. Anyone who rates them differently for their situation adjusts the number up or down accordingly. The calculation as a PDF, plus your industry benchmark. Kostenlos, Double-Opt-in. Jährliches Media-Budget €2.0M Kanäle in deinem Mix TV / Streaming Social Radio Podcast Digital / Display – So viel deines Budgets arbeitet ohne Sonic Assets unter seinem Potenzial. Jedes Jahr. Still.
